Karlyn Carnahan is a research director with Celent's Insurance practice, focused on property/casualty underwriting, claims, distribution management, and insurance strategy.

Gilda Spencer is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel in Dispute Resolution Services for Allstate.  In that role, Gilda leads a team of 40 associates in managing the litigation portfolio for Allstate including Special Operations and Corporate and Claim Litigation.  Before joining Allstate, Gilda was Vice President, Chief Litigation Counsel for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company where she managed 45 associates and the entire litigation on portfolio for the Nationwide family of companies.  Prior to joining Nationwide in 2001, she served as Assistant Unites States Attorney for the Southern District for Ohio.  Before that, Gilda was an associate with Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps in San Diego, California.Gilda is on the Advisory Council of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) as well as a member of the American Corporate Counsel Association (ACC) where she serves as a Minority Summer Internship Program Mentor. Gilda is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  She earned her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as President of the Black Law Students Association.

Vivian Ciampi is a Principal at Professional Coaching, LLC.� She provides leadership coaching and workshops to professionals, teams and entrepreneurs. ��She spent sixteen years as a Vice President at Travelers where she built a successful coaching program and coached many to the ranks of leadership. �She was very instrumental in creating their Product Management business and held various leadership positions in their early direct distribution efforts as head of the Citibank channel and their Modeling and Segmentation unit. �Prior to this, Vivian held several leadership roles in the Global Cash Management division of JP Morgan Chase.� She worked with cross-functional senior leadership teams across the country at clients such as Ingersoll Rand, United Technologies, UPS, Exxon, Continental Airlines, etc.�She holds a MBA from the University of Connecticut, B. A. in Economics from Fairfield University and is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. ��Vivian is currently working on a book, which is largely based on the content that she will present at this conference.

Ryan Buckner is a principal at CPA firm Schellman & Co. LLC, where he serves on the methodology leadership team and leads attestation task forces. He is also an AICPA-approved SOC Peer Review Specialist, and has completed over 800 service audits and SOC examinations.
