    Prior to her current research coverage, Ellen spent eight years providing strategic analysis and advice to Forrester’s insurance digital business strategy clients, focusing on eBusiness strategies and best practices in digital and customer experience as well as adoption trends for property and casualty, life, group, and health insurers.
    Ellen brings 30 years of experience in delivering technical and professional services to clients in a variety of industries and markets. She joined Forrester from the former ThruPoint, a New York-based professional services firm, where she was a principal consultant focusing on IT service business strategy to Global 100 clients in securities, banking, and insurance; telecommunications; and media and entertainment. Before joining ThruPoint, Ellen was a director and principal analyst for Gartner, following the infrastructure services market, including consulting, support, and managed services.
    Ellen has presented on vertical-industry and role-based marketing in a variety of Forrester and client events. She has been cited in Forbes, Fortune, the New York Times, the Economist, the Wall Street Journal, Best’s Review, Carrier Management, Rough Notes, Digital Insurance, New Scientist, and American Banker.

    Chad Mitchell is a senior analyst with Forrester Research. His career includes leadership positions in property/casualty automation, operations management and insurance product development. Mike's research focuses on innovation, billing, business process and operations, social media, and distribution management.Mike brings extensive industry experience to the analyst role.� Prior to joining Celent, he was vice president of enterprise underwriting solutions at Zurich North America, where he led the evaluation of technology alternatives to support a new underwriting product development process. He held a number of positions at Royal & Sun Alliance, including a field operations regional executive role. His technology implementation experience includes the installation and maintenance of billing, automobile policy administration, and workers compensation automation. In the 1990s, Mike led an initiative which delivered one of the first global online technical underwriting and claims learning platforms in the industry.Mr. Fitzgerald has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Davidson College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Previously, she was a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, specializing in property/casualty insurance, and a Management Associate in the Office of Management & Budget in the Executive Office of the President of the United States.A graduate of Western College for Women, Ms. Wilson holds masters degrees from Simmons College School of Social Work, Harvard University School of Government and Columbia University Graduate School of Business. In 1989, she was featured as one of the Top Ten Black Female Corporate Executives by Essence magazine. Ms. Wilson serves on several community non-profit boards of directors. She is an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Management at the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business.

    Julie Parsons is Vice President, Emerging Businesses, Allstate Insurance Company.Parsons oversees the Consumer Household unit. Prior to being promoted to Vice President, Emerging Businesses, Parsons was Assistant Vice President, Product Operations. In 2004, she was a field administrative director in Agency Distribution, providing home office support to Allstate’s Market Operating Committees.In 2005, Parsons was promoted to Assistant Vice President of product pricing, where she led the Pricing organization for Protection. While in Pricing, Parsons worked with the National Advisory Board Exclusive Agency Business Relationship committee. Outside of Allstate, Parsons is active with the Barrington Area Council on Aging and has served on the board of that organization since 2007.Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in actuarial science from Purdue University. Parsons currently resides in the northwest suburbs with her husband, Charles and two daughters.
