Encompass has 10 geographic regions and 2 million customers, and its products are sold through a network of more than 5,000 independent insurance agencies across the United States. As President, Young has overhauled strategy. She has transformed the business with revamped technology, operations, sales, claims, finance, strategy, marketing and communications capabilities. Young has reduced expenses by $100 million, delivered average returns of 12.5% 2006 – 2008 and grown targeted segments while reducing non-targeted segments. Young also has raised employee engagement while upgrading, developing and exporting talent across the Allstate organization.Young's prior executive roles include serving as President, Personal Lines Division, Hanover Insurance and Vice President of Product Management, Personal Lines, The Hartford. At Hanover, Young led a $1.5 billion operation and laid the foundation for a successful turnaround by rebuilding the senior management team, building and launching a new product, improving operations and increasing employee engagement. At Hartford, Young had profit and loss accountability for a $1.2 billion region and was responsible for product, pricing and underwriting of personal lines products sold through the agency and direct channels. Young also held various profit and loss management roles at Hartford and Progressive where, as a product manager, she delivered solid profit margins and growth.As an attorney, Young handled claims made under community bank directors' & officers' liability, bankers' blanket bond, trust errors & omissions and employment practices liability products in Progressive's Professional Liability Group. She also was a litigation associate at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, the second largest law firm in the world, where she focused on defense of Fortune 500 companies.Young has a keen appreciation for stakeholder interests. She is adept at building and managing regulatory relationships at all levels, building advocacy among corporate constituencies and advancing national, state and local policy issues.Young is the only African-American female in the United States running a multi-billion personal lines operation for a publicly-traded company.     Manny Rios is President and Chief Executive Officer of American Modern Insurance Group, Inc. (American Modern). A division of the company supports financial institutions with protection for property and collateralized loan portfolios, and fee income programs. American Modern is licensed in all 50 states, and insures more than 1.7 million policyholders.Prior to joining American Modern, Manny was appointed to Senior Vice President and named the Chief Underwriter (2007) at United Services Auto Association (USAA); a member centric property casualty company with over 11 million policies in force. The focus is on serving the military and their families. Manny worked extensively with predictive modeling and geo spatial technology in an effort to manage a rapidly growing risk portfolio.Manny was named the Chief Underwriter of Homesite Insurance (1999) and spent eight years from the inception of the mono line start up. He was an early user of geo spatial technology (GIS) and was the recipient of the “Best Effusion Award”. Manny started in 1999 when the company had virtually no premium and by 2007, there was over $500 million in premium in force. Manny worked extensively in the affinity channel developing strategic alliances with several major property and casualty insurance carriers.Manny began his career at the Allstate Insurance Company (1985), where he initially started in the controller function as a Financial Analyst. He spent seven years in various finance roles with rotations to Sales and Claims. He was then promoted to Personal Lines Director in the Northbrook, IL corporate headquarters. Manny led various major initiatives to improve the performance of the Allstate property book to include the opportunity lines of mobile home, condo, renters, etc. He was also appointed to lead the Hispanic marketing initiative.Manny earned an M.A. in Organization Development from University of Incarnate Word as well as a B.A. in Business Administration from Benedictine College. He participated in the ROTC Program while in college and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.Manny is married and is the proud father of twin daughters who are recent graduates of TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. Manny was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Greater Cincinnati United Way.

Under her leadership, an integrated marketing and sales platform was created to deliver information and capabilities across agency offices, mobile devices, the web, and call centers thus enabling Allstate customers to interact with the company when, where and how they choose.  More recently Coffey has focused on delivery of enterprise solutions and services aimed at improving the company’s effectiveness.Prior to her role with Technology & Operations, Coffey was the head of technology for Allstate Financial. There, she implemented the award-winning AccessAllstate Website - the number one site for financial producers – and achieved cost reductions while simultaneously improving availability of all systems.A employee of Allstate for more than 30 years, Coffey has held a variety of positions, initiating technology solutions in such areas as policy administration, sales force automation, CRM, ERP and data warehousing, including personal lines insurance, reinsurance, and commercial lines insurance.Away from Allstate, Ms. Coffey serves as Chair Emeritus for the Society for Information Management and is a member of the society’s Advanced Practices Council. She is a member of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management’s Board of Directors, and she has been honored with inclusion on such lists as the Computerworld’s Premier100 IT Leaders and Insurance Network News’ Women of Influence.A native of Kildeer, Illinois, Coffey earned her bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral science from National Louis University and her MBA from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
