A transformational executive with foresight and imagination, Dr. Henna A. Karna has an impressive history of delivering revolutionary digital innovations, ensuring memorable customer experiences, and developing ground-breaking solutions that have high-impact digital, big data, customer engagement, and product innovation strategies. Henna joined Xceedance as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in 2016. She is responsible for long-range planning and corporate direction based on a refined value proposition for the company within the insurance sector, with joint P&L responsibility for the organization. Driving a pivot of the business model based on new growth opportunities, data strategy and innovation in digital combined with analytics and cognitive intelligence.Prior to joining Xceedance, Henna was a Managing Director, Global Head of Actuarial Operations and led the effort of transforming the actuarial organization into a digital-centric, data and insight-driven business. Henna led design/development of AIG’s first actuarial digital portal: Conducted workshops/interviews with 150+ actuaries in 12 countries. Evaluated consumer/commercial data, complex issues, and interconnected systems. Identified and prioritized 4 emerging archetypes within ecosystem that needed service. Optimized actuarial workflow and formulated digital roadmap.Previously, Henna was President of Verisk Digital Services (business unit within Verisk Analytics) and had spearheaded a $20 million multi-year, multi-phase�initiative to build the very first digital ecosystem within the insurance space. Discovered major problems with existing customer strategy by conducting in-depth market research. Obtained funding from CEO for discovery phase of new solution, and completed extremely successful proof-of-concept. Karna designed a patent-pending Digital Engagement Platform with big data and analytics solution in just 9 months. Henna has spent over 20 years in industry, has a Doctorate and Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She’s been a member of Mensa and Pi Mu Epsilon, and has worked as an adjunct professor at Babson College. She is gifted at bringing together diverse mindsets and empowering multi-disciplinary teams to transform companies. Passionate about designing disruptive innovations and leading movements that positively shape the world, she has strengthened the brands of every company she has ever served. As Saama’s Practice Area Leader, Insurance, Sanjeev Kumar is responsible for delivering innovative data analytics solutions for the insurance industry at Saama. Sanjeev is very passionate about solving business problems and eternally believes in process improvement. He strongly believes that today’s next generation business intelligence in the form of advanced analytics will revolutionize the insurance industry.� Prior to joining Saama, Sanjeev worked in various companies such as Sun Microsystems, SGI, Applied Materials and CMC Ltd.Previously, Sanjeev was a co-founder and board member of InfoSTEP. At InfoSTEP, he was Chief Operating Officer responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, business planning, key account management and partner relationships prior to the company’s acquisition by Saama Technologies.Sanjeev is a winner of the Application Innovator award and a regular speaker at various conferences, including Business Intelligence.Sanjeev earned a B. S. in Engineering with distinction from M.S. University, Baroda, a Master Certificate in Computer Application from CMC Ltd. and attended Jamnalal Bajaj Management School, Mumbai.

Joseph Sebbag is CEO of Dallas-based Effisoft USA, an international reinsurance software vendor specializing in reinsurance systems for primary carriers. Previously he was assistant VP, reinsurance, at SCOR, where played a key role in the development of SCOR’s global reinsurance system.

Julia Davis joined Aflac in July 2013 as senior vice president; chief information officer. In her position, Julia oversees the day-to-day operations and the strategic initiatives of Aflac’s Information Technology Division. Before joining Aflac, she most recently served as chief information officer at American Safety Insurance (ASI).Prior to her tenure at ASI, she served as chief information officer of the Equipment Finance Division for GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services and GE Capital Business Productivity Solutions. Additionally, she held IT leadership positions at GE Energy, Armstrong World Industries, Information Builders, Ogden Government Services and CRSS Services, Inc.Julia began her career in the U.S. Air Force as a software engineer and earned the rank of captain. She received a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in system administration from St. Mary’s University.

In her role as Portfolio Manager with the Co-operators Life Insurance Company, Joan has worked with e-SignLive on the first two projects to introduce e-signatures to the Co-operators. Joan has 25 years’ experience in IT and Telco sectors in NA and Asia and was formerly a VP for Asia Pacific for a major Canadian Telco, which included heading up JV operations in Korea, Philippines, and other locations for over a decade. Joan was awarded the Industrial Service Medal by Kim, Dae-Jung, President of South Korea in 2002, and was the Chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea for many years. Joan enjoys business development, and working with diverse stakeholder interests to create profitable growth. She is also an experienced Senior Project Manager, PMP certified.

David Bocek works as a business development professional with eSignLive™, responsible for determining the unique requirements of prospects and providing effective support in key phases of the sales process. Working very closely with eSignLive customers, David analyzes, identifies and prioritizes business needs that help drive digital innovation in strategic e-signature plans.�
