Darryl Siry�is the Chief Digital Officer of ProSight Specialty Insurance, responsible for technology leadership overseeing IT, Digital Products & Customer Service (Operation). Throughout his career, Mr. Siry has developed innovative and effective digital strategies in a diverse set of industries. Prior to joining ProSight, Mr. Siry was founder and CEO of NewsBasis, a software service for media relations. Previously, Mr. Siry was SVP of Sales, Marketing and Service for Tesla Motors and SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company (An Allianz Company). Mr. Siry began his career as a consultant with Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) after graduating from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics.

Jon McNeill serves as Tesla’s President of Global Sales, Service and Delivery, overseeing all customer-facing operations. Prior to Tesla, he was the CEO and founder of multiple software, manufacturing and automotive companies. Fast Company magazine named him one of the 10 most innovative CEOs in the US. In 2012 Jon was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year and in 2013 he was named "Most Admired CEO" by the Boston Business Journal. Jon began his career at Bain & Company. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.

Haden Kirkpatrick joined Esurance in 2015 in the role of Director, Marketing Strategy and Innovation.� In this role, Mr. Kirkpatrick leads all competitive, market, and consumer research, as well as all go to market activities surrounding Esurance's product, service, and offer strategies.� A 15 year veteran of the Mobile Telecommunications industry, Mr. Kirkpatrick built his career by leveraging market research and technology innovation to disrupt crowded or semi-crowded markets.� Prior to Esurance, Mr. Kirkpatrick spent 10 years at T-Mobile where we ran a multi-billion dollar sub-prime business unit.� After T-Mobile, Mr. Kirkpatrick spent several years around the pacific rim as an independent Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation consultant.� Mr. Kirkpatrick brings this experience to Esurance, where he intends to leverage Esurance's innovative position to disrupt the self-directed insurance category.�

Bernhard is a principal in EY’s Financial Services Office and is the Global Leader of EY’s Customer and Growth Solution for the insurance industry. This practice assists insurance carriers world-wide in transforming their sales, service and marketing operations. Previously, Bernhard was Chief Marketing Officer for a $100B division of a global financial institution, and oversaw commercial initiatives across 31 countries. For 25 years, Bernhard has led analytics and customer driven transformation programs in the financial services industry, delivering results in terms of customer acquisition, retention, product cross-sales and the efficacy of sales, service and marketing. Typical programs include digital channels, customer experience improvement and adopting distribution management and CRM practices and technologies. Bernhard holds an MBA from Wharton and a MS Finance from Erasmus University.

Jed Usich is vice president of personal lines marketing for The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB) responsible for sales, marketing and distribution of HSB’s specialty insurance programs for consumers.� He joined the company in 2014.Previously Jed managed sales and marketing for AIG Private Client Group, a division of American International Group that provides insurance solutions to successful individuals and families.A twenty six year veteran of the property casualty insurance industry, Mr. Usich earlier in his career was responsible for property claims at AIG, Chubb Insurance and Aetna Property and Casualty.Mr. Usich earned a bachelor’s of science degree in economics from Bates College and is a graduate of Avon Old Farms School, Avon, CT. He is an active within the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IABA) and the Public Risk Management Association (PRMA.) �He serves as an inland wetlands commissioner for the town of Avon, Conn. and on the national council at Avon Old Farms School.�

Larry Furlong is a Managing Director at FT Partners and a veteran investment banker in the financial technology and insurance services spaces.� Larry began his investment banking career at Goldman Sachs in New York with internaltional coverage in London / Europe where he served as the senior banker on numerous M&A and capital raising transactions for many of the largest insurance carriers and insurance service providers globally.� Since joining FT Partners in 2010 , Larry has advised on the sale of Zywave to Aurora Capital; the sale of AmWins to New Mountain Capital; the sale of Insurance Technologies to Moelis Capital; the sale of Aplifi to iPipeline; the sale of Benaissance to Evolution1 / WEX; and the recent equity capital raise for Insureon, among many other transactions. �Larry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.

Over the past 12 years she has held leadership roles at both long-standing multinational and start-up organizations in the insurance industry. Linda is recognized throughout the insurance industry as a strategically minded, enthusiastic, and solution- oriented leader and for her ability to cultivate high-functioning multicultural teams, optimize operational processes, and increase both profitability and organizational capacity.Before joining Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance as Vice President, Director of Operations, Linda spent 11 years at XL Catlin in various roles, including Head of Underwriting Operations for Construction, and Vice President of Global Operations. She holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, specializing in Organizational Efficiency, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Economics, both from Immaculata University.She is a certified PMP – Project Management Professional and has received her CRIS designation.

Bret Shroyer, FCAS, runs Valen’s professional services division. Bret applies his 20 years of experience as a property and casualty (P&C) actuary and insurance professional to identify practical solutions for client success, bringing tangible benefits to insurers.Prior to joining Valen, Bret was SVP of Reinsurance for Willis Re, where he focused on quantitative analysis and actuarial modeling to support property reinsurance placements. Bret joined Willis in 2009, bringing a wide range of professional experience in actuarial analysis and financial modeling. From 2006 to 2008, Bret served as CFO of an environmental consulting and construction firm. Immediately prior to this, Bret held numerous positions including Senior Actuary, Underwriting Director, and Predictive Modeling Manager during his ten-year tenure at Travelers. Prior to Travelers, Bret practiced three years as an Actuarial Consultant with Deloitte.Bret earned a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Steve Werner received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University.� He is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor.� After passing the CPA exam in 1991, Steve began his career with Deloitte.� After four years there he took a position as Assistant Corporate Controller at United Companies Financial Corporation, a lending company based in Baton Rouge.� Before joining LUBA, Steve served as Internal Reporting Director for Lamar Advertising Co., one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in North America.� In 2011, Steve was named Chief Financial Officer of LUBA Workers’ Comp and is responsible for accounting and financial reporting and oversees the information technology, loss control and premium audit and billing operations.Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. Werner is a graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s prestigious leadership program.� He serves as chairman of the board of directors for the A.C. Lewis YMCA and treasurer of HOPE Ministries. Steve is also a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club.
