Uday Gharpure is managing director of Origin Information Technology (India) Ltd. He took up the position in December 1994 and built the organization as a strong, global, customer-oriented IT services company. Gharpure also spearheaded quality focus by making Origin an ISO 9000 and SEI CMM Level 4 organization. Prior to his current position, he was chief operations officer of Origin India and a member of the team that founded Origin in India.
