Lou Mastropietro is currently a Program Director for LPL Financial, a third party marketing leader that provides investment and insurance products and back office infrastructure to banks and credit unions across the country. Lou is responsible for the management and distribution of investments and insurance products and services through the retail branch network of Astoria Federal Savings in New York. Lou’s career in financial services encompasses some 30+ years. He began his career as a retail banker and moved to the investment and insurance industry in 1984. He has managed bank investment and insurance programs since 1989. His experience in the industry includes work done for insurance companies, banks and third party marketing firms. Prior to joining LPL in December of 2006, he managed the ABN AMRO investment and insurance program for LaSalle Bank in Chicago which had a complement of 150 registered Financial Consultants as well as a licensed platform staff of over 500. Lou was named one of the Top 20 Program Managers by the Bank Insurance & Securities Association in both 2008 & 2009. Lou currently lives on Long Island, New York with his wife and three daughters.
