He is responsible for Popular's credit card and personal loan businesses for Puerto Rico and United States, which have over $2.5 billion in balances. Before the Credit Card and Personal Loan Divisions were merged in 2011, Mr. Garc�a was SVP of the Credit Cards Division since 2003.Mr Garc�a joined Banco Popular in 1991. Prior to Credit Cards, he worked in the Strategic Planning and Consumer Credit Divisions of Banco Popular.� He has a bachelor degree in business administration from Boston College and an MBA from University of Michigan.
