While at JPMC, Steve focused on driving technology strategy and business development across the cyber security, fraud, and analytics sectors by leveraging emerging technology connectivity with Silicon Valley. He partnered closely with the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking organization on several IPOs and M&A deals across the technology landscape.Previously, Steve worked in multiple roles at UBS including systems development and architecture in the Investment Bank and in the Technology Strategy and Alliance function. During his time at UBS, he helped build the firm’s Silicon Valley presence and was responsible for managing the bank’s relationships with the venture capital community.Steve started his career as a technology consultant at IBM and BearingPoint; during those years, he had the opportunity to work on some of the most complex analytical systems in the financial services industry.Steve currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Nanowear, a healthcare technology company that is using its patented textile-based nanosensors to transform patient monitoring. Additionally, he sits on advisory boards of multiple venture capital firms and supports a number of charities, including The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Steve received an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

  • Richard Witkowski is a seasoned veteran in the payments and promotions industry and brings more than 25 years of experience in numerous financial, operational and business development roles to his position as Chief Executive Officer of Pin4TM. Prior to joining Pin4, Mr. Witkowski held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Affinity Solutions which, during his tenure, emerged as the leading company at the intersection of payments and marketing. Prior to Affinity, Mr. Witkowski founded iPoint Advisors, an advisory consultancy focused on the payments industry where his vast experience drove the strategic direction for many large organizations in the payments ecosystem. Mr. Witkowski spent the previous 20 years with Sony Corporation, where he launched the “My Sony” loyalty program and consumer-facing websites, uniting offerings from Sony Pictures, Sony Music, PlayStation and Sony Electronics for the first time in a consumer-interactive application. In addition, Mr. Witkowski devised and implemented the Wheel of Fortune “SPIN ID,” which was the first initiative of its type to incorporate a televised game show with an online consumer loyalty program and co-branded credit card. Mr. Witkowski continues to partner with professors on project work and studies that are primarily focused on the development of emerging payment products, big data marketing strategies and brand management and frequently collaborates with professors from UCLA Anderson School of Management on brand management, customer loyalty and other areas which are key to the payments industry. Mr. Witkowski also co-chaired a study on payment product loyalty programs in partnership with the Integrated Marketing Communications faculty at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Business School. Mr. Witkowski holds an MBA from Johnson School at Cornell University.

Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., the company operates 2,249 financial centers in 15 states and Washington, D.C.� Prior to his current position as of January 1, 2016, Mr. Tyner led BB&T’s Treasury Services Product Management and Client Service team. �Previous positions with BB&T include Payments Strategy group manager and President of BB&T subsidiary Creative Payment Solutions.� Mr. Tyner has been with BB&T for 35 years. �Mr. Tyner has also previously served as the Board Chairman for the Electronic Payments Network (EPN), a board member for NACHA, ECCHO, and EastPay, and a member of the ABA’s Payments Systems Committee.�

Since 2014, Ashwin has led the growth of the ‘Pay with Amazon’ platform to enable merchants and partners to create unique commerce experiences that benefit consumers and merchants globally. He transformed a niche program into a multi-billion dollar business by consolidating multiple platforms and enabling self-service, direct sales and enterprise partnership programs. He created Amazon’s first integrated service partnership, for e.g., with Shopify, combining Amazon Payments, Selling on Amazon and Fulfilment by Amazon and subsequently evolved it into the Global Partner Program allowing Amazon to expand its relationships with Ecommerce Platform Providers.Before Amazon, Ashwin spent 12 years at Visa Inc. He was the Vice President, Global Innovation & Strategic Partnerships at Visa Inc., and was responsible for managing Visa’s key strategic partnerships with companies such as Samsung, Microsoft, AT&T, and Sony, among others. Earlier, Ashwin managed Visa’s mobile money initiatives and led the acquisition and integration of Fundamo. The program marketed as mVisa allowed the Visa network to be used for providing mobile financial services to unbanked consumers.Before that, Ashwin managed Visa Direct, Visa’s money transfer business and was responsible for the development and implementation of new products and services that enable consumers to pay one another by sending funds directly to Visa accounts. Ashwin spent more than three years in Visa’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore managing Visa’s co-brand and signature client accounts. His work involved the product management of Visa’s core financial products and sales to financial institutions and key retail partners in Asia and Australia.Prior to Visa, Ashwin has worked in private equity and strategy consulting at Booz Allen & Hamilton in San Francisco.Ashwin completed his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at Anna University, MS from the University of Tennessee, and earned a MBA from the Harvard Business School.
