Do Your Clients Live in a 'Fair' Tax State?

How fair are the tax systems in the states your clients live? That, of course, depends on how you define "fair."

A new report from personal finance social network WalletHub claims to do just that with a ranking of the most and least fair state tax systems.

The rankings are certain to provoke disagreement. WalletHub conducted a nationwide survey to determine what Americans think a fair state and local tax system looks like. Using that assessment, analysts then ranked the states based on how closely their tax systems matched what the survey respondents considered to be fair. – AccountingToday and Financial Planning Staff.
