Benjamin Edwards Opens 2 Offices; Hires 7 From Wells Fargo

Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., a Missouri-based full-service broker-dealer, has added two more offices in Canton, Ohio and Abilene, Kansas., growing the firm to 33 branches in 17 states. It has also hired 5 financial advisors and two associates from Wells Fargo Advisors to the new offices.

The expansion, a key component of the firm’s growth strategy, aims to leverage opportunities to strengthen and diversify their revenue base, according to Benjamin F. (Tad) Edwards IV, founder of the firm.

Joining the Abilene, Kansas location are Patti O’Malley, managing director of Investments and Jeff Hoover, associate vice president of Investments. O’Malley brings to Benjamin Edwards 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Hoover brings to the firm 10 years of experience in the brokerage and banking industries.

Donna Nanninga, who also joins the firm as senior financial associate, will assist O’Malley and Hoover with client management responsibilities. The team will report to Roger Buller, regional manager of the Midwest.

Joining the Canton, Ohio office, are Thomas J. Addessi and Michael Rosso, vice presidents of Investments and Timothy Dvorak, financial consultant. Addessi brings to Benjamin Edwards 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Rosso joins the firm with nearly 25 years of financial services experience, where he began his career at Merrill Lynch. Dvorak brings 20 years of experience in the securities industry.

Also joining the office as senior financial associate is Kellie Westren, who brings more than 17 years of financial service experience.
