Citi Private Bank Nabs Investment Officer from TD Wealth

Citi Private Bank has nabbed a high-level investment officer from TD Wealth to serve as a director and investment counselor in the bank’s East Region. Bruce Stewart will lead the team in Boston and handle all Boston-related investment business, the bank announced Friday.

At TD Wealth, Stewart was co-head of Investments, a position he held for two years.  In that role, he actively managed $10 billion in third-party managers across the equity, fixed income and alternative asset classes in 12 model portfolios. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Longvue Advisors as the chief investment officer, and before that, he was vice president of Research and portfolio manager at JP Morgan Chase.

“Bruce’s more than 15 years of experience as a senior level investment industry executive makes him an ideal fit for Citi Private Bank in keeping with our reputation for excellent client service, a central factor in continuing to grow our business in the Eastern region,” Michael Persinski, head of Investments in the East Region for Citi Private Bank US Investments, said in a statement.
