MSSB Adds $2 Million UBS Team

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is continuing its assault on top UBS producers, hiring a $2 million team in Boca Raton, Fla.

Carlos Van Maanen and Carlos Stolk previously oversaw $270 million in client assets at UBS.

Van Maanen spent almost a decade at UBS and its predecessor Paine Webber. Stolk spent almost eight years at UBS, according to FINRA filings.

This move by MSSB, a joint venture of Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, follows the hiring of two other million-dollar UBS advisors earlier this month
