Raymond James Takes Advisor Sites Mobile

Access to advisors and brokerage accounts is getting even easier for some investors.

Raymond James has launched mobile optimized versions of over 2,000 advisor websites and a mobile application for its more than 2 million investor accounts. The app provides investors access to their account summary and activity and portfolio and market snapshot screens.

Vin Campagnoli, head of Private Client Group technology and strategy development, said Raymond James the new features help advisors support their clients while also building their brands.

“In addition to the mobile application for clients, our launch of mobile optimized advisor websites is unique in the marketplace and consistent with our culture of focusing on advisors and how they can enhance their relationships with clients,” Campagnoli said in a statement.

Christian Maeder, a California based Raymond James financial advisor said he was delighted with his firm’s new mobile optimized website.

“Even in the confines of a smartphone screen, my clients know it’s our website, the Investor Access is prominent, and my brand is totally consistent with the rest of our marketing materials and messaging,” Maeder said in a statement.

Another advisor, James Wycoff of the Ohio-based Wycoff-Lucas Retirement Income Investment Group said a member of his staff had worked closely with Raymond James to build a site tailored to their proprietary process and brand and he was pleased with the way it turned out.

“It works well on all our office devices, iPhone, BlackBerry Storm and iPads; and even in the relatively short time it’s been available, we are hearing good things from our clients,” Wycoff said in a statement.

The free application is available in Apple’s App Store, Google’s Play Store and Window’s Marketplace.
