He brings assets under management of more than $250 million and $1.5 million in production, according to RBC Wealth Management.

In addition to Pisoni’s 10-year tenure with Merrill Lynch, his 27 years in wealth management include more than a decade with Allmerica Investments.

RBC Wealth Management has also hired Debbie Papa from Merrill Lynch as a senior client associate.

“RBC Wealth Management is very committed to growing our U.S presence and building out our footprint in Arizona,” Timothy D. Rannow, senior managing director and complex director at RBC Wealth Management in Phoenix, said in a statement.

This is the second senior Merrill Lynch advisor to jump to RBC this month.
