Silver Bridge Snags Bostonian’s Mathers

Silver Bridge Advisors, q Boston-based independent wealth advisory firm, announced Sept. 1 that it has hired Mark Mathers and his team away from the Bostonian Group, where Mathers led its financial-planning practice.

At Silver Bridge, Mathers, a CFP, will focus on providing wealth solutions to corporate executives and high-net-worth families across the country.

Silver Bridge is expanding nationally by acquiring other firms. In July, the company bought H&S Financial Advisors, based in San Francisco. The firm currently has about $1.5 billion in assets, which it hopes to grow to $7 billion within five years.
