Wells Fargo Names Mack President of Financial Services Group

Wells Fargo Advisors has tapped Mary Mack to serve as president of its Financial Services Group, the firm announced on Monday.

With the promotion, Mack will step from her current role as executive vice president and head of wealth brokerage services at the firm. Wells Fargo is currently searching for Mack’s successor in that role, the firm said.

Mack will now manage Wells Fargo’s advisory services, investments and advisory products, lending and banking services, investments and advisory products and strategic solutions businesses. She replaces Kent Christian, who will now lead the firm’s broker-dealer unit for independent financial advisors, Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.

Mack has also served in various roles in the firm including head of Wachovia client partnership, director of headquarters community affairs, general bank regional president, and managing director of health care corporate banking.

“The close and productive partnerships that Mary has developed with the Wells Fargo Community Bank, and her experience in her earlier roles as a bank leader, will be a tremendous asset to our brokerage firm as we equip our financial advisors to meet all of our clients’ financial needs,” Wells Fargo Advisors President and Chief Executive Danny Ludeman said in a statement.
