  • Melissa Rosenbaum is a marketing professional with more than 30 years of experience. Currently she  is Senior Marketing Manager of the Retirement Plan Solutions and Self-Directed Plan Services businesses at TD Ameritrade Institutional. Rosenbaum is responsible for driving and developing the marketing strategy and execution for all aspects of product development, technology, retention and acquisition programs for both lines of business.\nPreviously, Rosenbaum was Vice President of Marketing for ICON Advisors. Prior to that, she held marketing management  positions with Fiserv Investment Support Services, Great-West Life and Annuity and Karsh & Hagan Advertising Agency. Additionally she has served as a marketing consultant for a number of financial services firms.\nRosenbaum received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Colorado. She is a member of the Business Marketing Association. She has received numerous awards from both marketing and financial services organizations in recognition of her marketing campaigns and programs.

  • Melissa Ventrone, chair of the firm’s Data Privacy and Cyber Liability practice, focuses her practice on class action privacy litigation, privacy breach response (pre- and post-event), payment card industry (PCI) standards and investigation, and advising clients in identifying, evaluating, and managing first- and third-party data privacy and security risks. Melissa has represented numerous clients in litigation and arbitration, including in disputes related to privacy, invasion of privacy, contracts, consumer fraud, statutory claims and other matters, using her strong organizational and advocacy skills to obtain the best results for her clients.Melissa frequently advises clients on compliance with regulations and state, federal and international law. She serves as one of the leaders of Wilson Elser’s breach response team, quickly bringing lawyers, clients, and forensic and breach response vendors together to enhance response time and effectiveness. Melissa has handled numerous breaches for small and large corporations, including merchants, financial institutions, medical providers and educational institutions, successfully reducing public and regulatory scrutiny and protecting her clients’ reputations.Among her many leadership roles, Melissa has served in key positions as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, including executive officer for a 329-person company forward deployed to Afghanistan. She is currently a reservist serving as the S-4 Officer with Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve. In her free time, Melissa volunteers as an ombudsman for Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, acting as a neutral mediator assisting employers and service members in resolving employment-related disputes.\n

  • Meir Statman is the Glenn Klimek Professor of Finance at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University and Visiting Professor at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. His research focuses on behavioral finance. He attempts to understand how investors and managers make financial decisions and how these decisions are reflected in financial markets.The questions he addresses include: What are the cognitive errors and emotions that influence investors? What are investor aspirations? How can financial advisors and plan sponsors help investors? What is the nature of risk and regret? How do investors form portfolios? How successful are tactical asset allocation and strategic asset allocation? What determines stock returns? What are the effects of sentiment? How successful are socially responsible investors?Meir’s research has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Financial Analysts Journal, the Journal of Portfolio Management, and many other journals. The research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the Research Foundation of the CFA Institute, and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). Meir is a member of the Editorial Board of the Financial Analysts Journal, the Advisory Board of the Journal of Portfolio Management, the Journal of Wealth Management and the Journal of Investment Consulting, an Associate Editor of the Journal of Financial Research, the Journal of Behavioral Finance, and the Journal of Investment Management and a recipient of a Batterymarch Fellowship, a William F. Sharpe Best Paper Award, a Bernstein Fabozzi\/Jacobs Levy Outstanding Article Award, a Davis Ethics Award, a Moskowitz Prize for best paper on socially responsible investing, two Baker IMCA Awards, and three Graham and Dodd Scroll Awards. Meir consults with many investment companies and presents his work to academics and professionals in many forums in the U.S. and abroad.Meir received his Ph.D. from Columbia University and his B.A. and M.B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

In 2010 she ranked #4 in Florida of the Top 1000 financial Advisors nationally.Besides her many charitable ventures & contributions, Meg spends her leisure time relaxing at her vacation home in Los Cabos, Mexico with her husband Richard, and enjoying the musical careers of her two grown children, Robbie and Abby Gennet, and son-in-law Brett Scallions. Being Grandmother to little Jagger and new grandson Sawyer is her best role yet.
