Drumroll, please. … Today Financial Planning is launching our 2024 Rising Star awards, recognizing planners with less than 10 years of experience in the industry.

The awards celebrate young wealth management professionals and career changers who are advancing the profession through their accomplishments, contributions and service to the community.

The deadline for nominations is midnight on Friday, May 31, 2024. Results will be announced in September, and winners will be invited to accept their awards at FP's ADVISE AI conference this October in Las Vegas.

Who can be nominated?

All fee-only or fee-based planners or other wealth management professionals are eligible to be nominated or nominate themselves. Anyone can submit as many nominations as they wish.

What information is required?

The simple nomination form is designed to be a quick listing of information about the planner and the firm, with four open-ended questions asking for your explanation about how the nominee is advancing the professional community and why they're a rising star.

The Financial Planning staff will choose the winners based on the merits of each application. Considerations include the firm's assets under management, but that is not the sole determining factor of the award winners.

Additional details

Nominees must have less than 10 years of experience in wealth management as of Dec. 31, 2024. All nominations and details will be subject to verification.
