$1.2 Trillion Said to Be Invested in Socially-Responsible Funds

One out of every ten dollars invested in America, or $1.2 trillion, is part of a socially-responsible portfolio, according to a new book on socially-responsible investing published this month by Bloomberg Press of Princeton, N.J. That is a 227 percent increase from $560 billion in 1995, the book says.

"Investing With Your Values: Making Money and Making a Difference", was written by Hal Brill, Jack Brill and Cliff Feigenbaum. Hal and Jack Brill are financial consultants and Feigenbaum is the editor of GreenMoney Journal and a web site called naturalinvesting.com.
