CFP Board-registered program: Bachelor of business administration in financial planning Enrollment: 25 Faculty: 15 full-time Student-to-faculty ratio: Freshman and sophomore, 20-35:1; junior- and senior-level courses capped at 10-20:1 Tuition: Free for students who enter as first-time freshmen in the fall semester and have a high school GPA over 3.7, a combined SAT score of 1250 or a composite ACT score of 28. (These spaces are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis.) For others who are New York residents, $6,170 per year; for nonresident freshmen and sophomores, $9,870; for nonresident juniors and seniors, $15,820. FPA Student Chapter: No Overview: Alfred State’s financial planning program has a 100% graduate placement rate with regional fee-based financial planning firms and major financial service industry giants. Students are offered field trip opportunities to various FPA functions and conventions, as well as visits to regional financial planning firms.
