Money Management Executive and SourceMedia are accepting nominations for the third annual Fund Operations Awards.
The awards recognize people in the back office who make things happen. A panel of industry judges will select notable individuals, teams or fund companies that have excelled in three categories: Innovation, Efficiencies/Streamlining and Leadership.
The nomination deadline is April 25, and winners will be announced at the NICSA General Membership Meeting on June 13 in Wellesley, Mass. Winners will also be profiled in the June 20 issue of Money Management Executive.
Innovation recognizes distinction in the use of cutting-edge technologies by mutual fund companies. Efficiencies/streamlining distinguishes an individual, back-office team or firm that has used technology and organizational restructuring to improve the firm's bottom line and its service. And the leadership nod honors a back-office executive or service provider for their contribution to the profession. Nominations should be limited to 500 words for each category of submission.
Nominations should also include assets under management for the fund company in question. Please include as many measurements as possible by which these achievements can be evaluated, as well as any supporting documents deemed necessary, including client testimonials. Submit entries via e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Last year's winners were: Lisa Hurley, EVP, general counsel, BISYS Fund Services; Envision Financial Systems and Principal Financial Group.
