Abbett Fund to Close to New Investors

The Lord Abbett Research Fund Small-Cap Value Series will close to new investors, Lord, Abbett & Co. announced today.

Class A, B, P and Y shares will close to new investors as of July 2, according to a company statement. Citing heavy inflows, Lord, Abbett managers said the fund is nearing the capitalization guidelines set by its managers.
The fund had nearly $750 million in assets as of May 31, the statement said.
