Advisers registered with Boston-based AdvisorCentral are to get access to WiserAdvisor.com's system for matching advisers with investors, the company said. The WiserAdvisor.com service is to become available through AdvisorCentral in February.
AdvisorCentral was started in November 2001, and it says it aggregates account information from 45 fund companies and gets 2.5 million queries per month from registered users. These include independent financial advisers as well as advisers affiliated with major broker/dealers.
WiserAdvisor.com provides a way for investors and financial advisers to find each other by enabling investors to describe and then be matched with "ideal" advisers.
