AIM Fund Services, the transfer agent of AIM Management Group, has switched from using two portals to supply financial intermediaries with customer information, to just using DST Systems Vision. Previously, AIM also used the fund industry-owned AdvisorCentral, but when it found that 90% of traffic to intermediaries and broker/dealers was running on Vision, the company decided to make the change.
"We evaluated available products with our colleagues at [parent company] Invesco Funds and determined that Vision will provide our clients with valuable additional features, such as transaction processing and online statements," said Ira Cohen, senior vice president at AIM Fund Services.
"AIM has had the unique opportunity to use both sites and to determine which was more useful to them, so we are especially happy with AIMs decision," said Kyle Mallot, DSTs client services officer.
