Allied Investment Advisors (AIA) has promoted James Hannan to managing director and head of the firm's fixed income team, a new position at the firm.

AIA is an investment advisory firm that manages the ARK family of mutual funds and manages assets for pension and profit-sharing funds, corporations, not-for-profits, municipalities and labor unions across the country.

Hannan, who joined AIA in 1987, has served as principal and senior fixed income portfolio manager for the past six years. He will continue to manage several ARK money market and bond funds as well as large institutional portfolios.
