American Century Launches Funds-of-Fund Series

American Century Investments is beefing up its investment lineup this week with five new funds-of-funds designed for conservative investors, the Kansas City Business Journal reports.
The new series, dubbed One Choice Portfolios, constructs investment portfolios by investing in American Century's proprietary mutual funds. The funds are ranked on a scale of assumed risk, with five as the most aggressive option.
Minimum investments in the new funds offered through A and B share classes begin at $2,500. The loaded share classes are designed to ensure that investors purchase the funds through commission-based financial advisers.
