American Express Expands Sub-Advised Fund Line Up

American Express Financial today added two new international equity funds to its line up of sub-advised funds and named American Century, Liberty Wanger Asset Management and Alliance Capital as sub-advisors.
American Century and Liberty Wanger Asset Management will sub-advise the AXP Partners International Aggressive Growth Fund and Alliance Capital will manage the International Select Value Fund.
Those funds bring the total number of sub-advised funds the firm offers to five. In addition, the Partners series includes a value fund managed by Lord Abbett, a small cap value fund managed by Royce Associates and Third Avenue Funds and a fundamental value fund managed by Davis Selected Advisers.
American Express offers 53 retail funds that hold more than $83 billion in assets under management, according to the company.
