Aquila Management Corp., the investment advisor of the Aquila Group of Funds, has announced that Emily T. Rae is now vice president of the Aquila Rocky Mountain Equity Fund and the Aquila Tax-Free Fund of Colorado.
Rae will be responsible for sales, marketing and shareholder servicing throughout the state of Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Equity Fund invests primarily in stocks of companies based in the Rocky Mountain region. The Tax-Free fund is a Colorado municipal bond fund.
Rae joins Aquila from Colorado State Bank and Trust, where she served as an investment analyst. She previously served as a financial analyst for J.P. Morgan and as a senior registered sales associate at investment firm Kirkpatrick Pettis. Rae replaces Jori Everitt, who left the firm to attend law school.
