Barclays Wealth announced the hiring of six advisors in its Boston, New York, Dallas and Miami offices. The new hires all have backgrounds serving high net worth clients, Barclays said in a press release Friday.
In Boston, the firm — the wealth management division of Barclays Bank — hired Glen Darby. Darby previously worked at Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group, according to Barclays.
The firm also hired Matthew Grady in Boston. Grady was previously CEO of Old North Advisors.
In New York, the firm hired Jerrid Douglas from Citi Private Bank, and Andrew Leventhal from Credit Suisse Private Banking.
In Dallas, Michele Huff Powell joined Barclays Wealth from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.
In Miami, earlier this month, Barclays announced the hiring of Narcisco Munoz from HSBC International Private Bank.
Barclays Wealth has total client assets of $272 billion, according to the press release.
