Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) has announced that Jon Baum has joined Scudder Distributors, the distribution arm of Scudder Investments, as president and CEO. Scudder Investments is the US retail brand for DeAM.
In his new position, Baum will head all of the firm's sales, marketing and service efforts. He will report to Scudder Investments president and CEO Tom Eggers.
Baum joins Scudder from UBS PaineWebber, where he had worked since 1984. At UBS, he served most recently as executive vice president and director of business development, responsible for recruiting and professional development and all sales functions for the firm's private client group.
