Berger Opens Unique Investor Center

Berger Funds of Denver has opened an interactive retail investor center in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, located less than one mile from Berger Funds’ headquarters.

This marks the first investor center of its kind in the U.S., according to the company in its announcement yesterday.

Berger’s investor center will allow the $6.5 billion no-load fund group to provide services to existing investors in all 11 of its funds, as well as reach new customers, according to the announcement.

The new investor center features a stock ticker, two flat-screen, high-definition televisions and two investor information stations staffed by Berger Funds’ representatives. Investors can meet with a representative, execute fund transactions including buying, exchanging or redeeming shares, and tour the Berger Funds’ Web site, according to the company.

The Cherry Creek Shopping Mall was chosen, in part, because it has one of the highest amounts of retail sales per square foot in the nation and attracts more than 15 million shoppers each year, according to Berger.

Communication Arts, Inc. of Boulder designed the investor center.
