Bernard to Serve Second Term as ICI Chair

The Investment Company Institute’s board of governors has elected its chairman, Edward C. Bernard, vice chairman of T. Rowe Price, to serve a second one-year term.

Bernard said that over the past year, he has come to better appreciate the “ICI’s vitally important role in addressing a broad range of issues of great consequence to funds and their investors.”

The ICI also elected six additional directors: Robert J. Manning, chairman and CEO of MFS Investment Management; Ashok N. Bakhru, independent director, Goldman Sachs Mutual Funds; William F. Glavin, Jr., chairman, president and CEO of OppenheimerFunds; Robert M. Keith, executive managing director, AllianceBernstein; Susan B. McGee, president and general counsel, U.S. Global Investors; and Karla M. Rabusch, president, Wells Fargo Advantage Funds.
