BFT Financial Group, a Bedford, Texas, broker-dealer, announced Monday it hired Travis Crowell.
Crowell, who has worked in the financial services industry for seven years, had worked at Chase Investment Services. Before that, he worked at Mills McCaghren & Associates and Ameriprise Financial.
BFT Financial said Crowell “was looking for an opportunity to join an independent group for quite some time” because “he wanted to build more of a personal relationship with his clients, helping them through difficult decisions and giving them peace of mind and clarity. He had been in touch with [BFT] for a few years, and finally the right opportunity came through for a mutually beneficial partnership.”
"I really enjoy working with families, and I felt that BFT fostered that type of atmosphere I was seeking," says Crowell. "It's a passion of mine to see families through their initial financial planning stages, all the way through their retirement years."
BFT, which was founded 18 years ago by Steve Freeman and Sammy Tally, is a boutique broker/dealer financial firm that offers an array of services, including asset allocation, retirement planning, insurance and annuities, tax planning, wealth management, and small business services.
