The Bank Insurance & Securities Association and LIMRA announced a partnership designed to be a source of information and networking for companies that sell financial products through banks and credit unions.The new group, Bank Insurance and Securities Research Associates, will serve as the research arm of BISA and offer the same types of services formerly provided by LIMRA's Kehrer-Limra subsidiary, according to a press release.Specifically, the group will offer industry performance measurement and benchmarking tools, best practices offerings and strategic summits, according to the press release."BISRA's very existence and its new product development objectives are based on direct feedback from the industry," said Scott Stathis, BISRA's managing director, in the press release. "Leaders in the industry told us there was way too much confusion in the marketplace, that they wanted one reliable source for research and executive summits," he said.
