BISYS Expands Services For Hedge Funds in Ireland

BISYS has expanded its hedge fund services into Ireland, with the opening of a new office in Waterford. The company forecasts that the new office will generate more than 250 jobs over the next few years.

"The decision to expand our Irish operations was strongly influenced by our successes to date in Ireland. BISYS has been at the forefront of the European hedge fund business since first establishing our Dublin office in 1998. Our team has consistently demonstrated its ability to deliver world-class standards of service to our clients, and that success has enabled us to become the leading hedge fund administrator in Europe," said Ronan Daly, president of BISYS hedge fund services.

"As we considered expansion alternatives to support our growth, an additional Irish location was a logical choice," Daly continued. "Ireland, the premier growth center in the hedge fund industry in Europe, provides administration for 30% of hedge funds worldwide. We believe that Waterford is an ideal location to expand our Irish operations."

Managing director of BISYS hedge fund services in Europe, Karen Tyrrell, added, "Our new Waterford office enables us to expand our capacity and support the growing demand for our services. We look forward to continued growth while maintaining superior service for our hedge fund clients."

BISYS alternative investment services supports $200 billion in assets with administrative, accounting, advisory and tax services.
