BISYS Hires New VP

BISYS, the New York-based mutual fund service company, has named George Evans as head of business development for the company’s investment services group, BISYS announced today.

Evans will be responsible for sales, marketing, strategic planning, product development and the development of intra-company sales opportunities, according to BISYS. "I…believe the financial services industry’s growing outsourcing trend and technology dependence will generate unprecedented opportunities for BISYS’ investment services," Evans said in a statement.

Evans served most recently as senior VP of investor services for J.P. Morgan. There he was responsible for global business development, internal and external marketing, and communications.

Evans will report to Bill Tomko, president of BISYS Investment Services group.
