BISYS Fund Services of Little Falls, N.J., has created a web-based system that allows brokers and individual shareholders to check balances and account histories and conduct and confirm trades on their mutual fund accounts.

WebSolutions is compatible with several record-keeping systems, BISYS said. Other web-based products have only been able to link to a single back-office system, which does not properly serve the needs of most mutual fund companies, said David Huber, president of BISYS Fund Services.
