Business Educator Offers RFC Designation

Online education company Kaplan College said this week that those who complete a course it offers in financial planning will now qualify to be included in a referral network offered by the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants.

Those who complete Kaplans Certificate in Financial Planning courses will now qualify for a Registered Financial Consultant designation, which connects planners with the IARFCs referral network, helping them garner new clients. The company says it is the only independent business educator to offer the Registered Financial Consultant designation.

The IARFC is chartered to connect investors with what it believes are qualified professionals to help ensure that the public can easily access good investment advice, the organization said. Previously, those who wanted to earn the designation had to do so solely through the IARFC.
