Cardinal Funds become part of Fountain Square Funds

The Cardinal Funds have been merged into the Fountain Square Funds, which are advised by Fifth Third Bank. The Cardinal Funds were run by The Ohio Co., which Fifth Third recently acquired.

Two Cardinal Funds, the large-cap Cardinal Fund and the Tax Exempt Money Market Fund, were added to the Fountain Square fund family. The four other Cardinal funds -- the Cardinal Balanced Fund, the Cardinal Aggressive Growth Fund, the Cardinal Government Obligations Fund and the Cardinal Government Securities Fund -- were merged into existing Fountain Square funds. The Fountain Square Funds now have a total of 16 funds and $4.5 billion in assets under management.
