Citi Taps Campbell to Lead Family Office Group in North America

Citi Private Bank has added Stephen Campbell to its team as managing director and head of the family office group for North America.

In his new role, Campbell will work with Citi Private Bank’s regional executives and private bankers to provide products and services for family offices. Campbell, who will be based in Seattle, will report to Citi Private Bank North America CEO Peter Charrington and Global Family Office Group Head Catherine Weir.

Campbell most recently served as chief investment officer at Zefram LLC, the personal investment company of Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos. Campbell managed a portfolio of equity, fixed income and alternative investments at Zefram, and also served as managing director of Bezos’ venture fund. Prior to Zefram, Campbell was chief executive of financial software companies Capital Stream, bought by HCL Technologies, and Devonshire Technology, which was acquired by Fidelity Investments in 1998.
