CitiStreet has announced that it is expanding its consulting service capabilities to offer information about qualified-plan regulatory developments online.
This service will be offered through CitiStreet Consulting Services as part of a partnership with Plan Advisory Services, a company that covers and analyzes qualified-plan regulations.
James E. Murphy, president of CitiStreet's total benefits outsourcing unit, said that CitiStreet decided to offer the service because of a growing demand from plan sponsors for help on compliance issues due to legislative and regulatory changes.
CitiStreet, the retirement services alliance of State Street Corp. and Citigroup, will distribute the information as e-mail alerts. The new service is part of CitiStreet's growth strategy for 2002. CitiStreet Consulting Services was started this year to support retirement and health and welfare programs. It offers actuarial, health and welfare, and participant communications consulting services.
