The Closed-End Fund Association (CEFA) of Kansas City, Missouri is hoping to attract new investors with a new educational brochure and website.
CEFA is offering the brochure, "Understanding the Advantages of Closed-End Funds," to sales organizations and individual investors. The website (www.closed-endfunds.com), set to go online later this month, will also feature educational information, as well as extensive performance data and daily net asset values.
CEFA, which is less than a year old, currently has 18 members.
"We intend to become a central clearinghouse for closed-end funds," said Brian Smith, the executive director of CEFA.
