The Closed-End Fund Association (CEFA) of Kansas City, Missouri is hoping to attract new investors with a new educational brochure and website.

CEFA is offering the brochure, "Understanding the Advantages of Closed-End Funds," to sales organizations and individual investors. The website (, set to go online later this month, will also feature educational information, as well as extensive performance data and daily net asset values.

CEFA, which is less than a year old, currently has 18 members.

"We intend to become a central clearinghouse for closed-end funds," said Brian Smith, the executive director of CEFA.
