College Savings Group Unveils Board of Directors

The College Savings Foundation, an organization for building awareness about 529 college savings plans, has announced its board of directors.

The foundation said Tuesday that it elected Charles Toth, the director of education savings at Merrill Lynch & Co., to be its chairman; Eric Nottonson, a vice president of Fidelity Investments, to be vice chairman; William Raynor, a vice president and the director of education savings and sales at AIM Investments, to be secretary; and Sarah Henriksen, who is the director of education planning at Strong Financial, to be treasurer.

In addition to Fidelity, Merrill, AIM, and Strong, nine other 529 plan providers are represented on the CSF board.

Toth said the foundation will now move aggressively to promote the benefits of 529 plans.
