Rep. Paul Gillmore (R-OH) has introduced a companion bill in the House to the Mutual Fund Reform Act sponsored by Senator Peter Fitzgerald (R-IL) in the Senate.

A companion bill is similar or identical to another piece of legislation introduced in the opposite house of Congress. "I applaud Congressman Gillmore’s effort to push this important reform bill, and look forward to working with members of the House to protect the household, college and retirement savings of America’s 95 million mutual fund investors," Fitzgerald said, in a statement.
