Concert Wealth Management announced Monday that has partnered with a three-man advisor team overseeing $100 million in client assets that will serve as the cornerstone of its new branch in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Advisors Scott Christie and John Aitchison, formerly of Scottsdale-based The Planning Group, and portfolio analyst Ryan Jennings will be joined by client relations assistant James Filtz at the wealth management firm’s latest outpost.
“We are extremely pleased [to] find ourselves working with such experienced and capable individuals,” CEO Felipe Luna said in a statement. “We have long wanted to gain some exposure to the highly affluent Scottsdale/Phoenix market and I couldn’t think of a better way and a better group to accomplish this strategic goal.”
At The Planning Group, Aitchison was a vice president and Christie served as a senior planning consultant. Prior to joining The Planning Group, Aitchison was an advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Christie spent 20 years at Life Designs Associates, Inc.
The additions are the latest in a string of new hires for the San Jose, Calif.-based firm.
