Credit Suisse Investment Services has opened its first office in the Cayman Islands, the company said.

The office, which opened this month, is intended to expand the company’s fund services to asset managers and wealthy clients. The company’s fund operations can now operate in a new jurisdiction and the firm plans to introduce several new Cayman funds each year, Credit Suisse said in a statement.

The new office will be headed by David Preston, who has worked for Credit Suisse for eight years.
