Tony James has been appointed chairman of global investment banking and private equity at

He had previously worked as co-head of global investment banking and private equity. James will now focus on investment banking strategy as well as senior client relationships and the firms private equity business. He will continue to report to John Mack, the companys CEO.
In addition, Adebayo Ogunlesi will become head of global investment banking. He most recently headed the companys global energy group. Ogunlesi will report to Mack and serve on the companys executive board and operating committee.
