Curian Capital has launched the Curian Research Select Portfolios. The managed account offerings include two distinct sets of portfolios, one focused on asset accumulation, the other on income distribution.

The accumulation portfolios offer both strategic and tactical asset allocation approaches, complemented by risk controls. The income portfolios offer three levels of income based on a client’s needs, in addition to an optional inflation control component.

“For the past several years, Curian has continued to expand the investment options available on its platform to give advisers access to a broader range of asset management solutions,” said Chris Rosato, senior vice president of strategic development for Curian. “Research Select builds on our established portfolio base by introducing intelligent combinations of Curian’s new and existing strategies within a single client portfolio. As a result, advisers can better match their investment strategies to specific client objectives, while also avoiding the cost and complexity of maintaining several different accounts.”
