Curran Ditches Deutsche For Fidelity

Sue Curran signed on with Boston-based Fidelity Management Trust Co. as a senior VP and relationship manager, a newly created position.

In Curran's new capacity she will focus on the public fund sector. She hails from Deutsche Asset Management, where she was responsible for public fund clients in the western region. A representative from Deutsche did not return calls by press time in regard to Curran's replacement.

"We are extremely pleased that Sue has joined public fund team. Her depth of experience in institutional investment management and specifically the public fund area is an asset for Fidelity and our clients," said Mike Forrester, executive VP of relationship management, in a statement.

Fidelity's public fund team has brought in 20 new mandates totaling almost $3 billion in assets from year to date, according to a company statement released.

The firm manages in excess of $62 billion for more than 450 institutional clients.
